Did have the error about 45 minutes ago, when rezoning (just helped a team get masters on Viz. square).
Got back in, but my GW froze and I had to kill the application. Then windows froze on me. Seems that my HD (windows partition) just died on me, have been working to get the drive up, but it looks like even tools like chkdsk (from the xp cd) cannot fix the error (gets to 25% and then complains about unrecoverable errors). Looks like i need to get a new hard drive tomorrow and reinstall all applications. Fortunately, I keep data on an other partition (and most even on an other drive) so it's only reinstalling a lot of applications. I'm typing this on my Sun Blade system running Solaris, so I won't play GW tonight anymore. And cannot confirm that the error is away or still present. |
